Choosing a healthcare professional for your child or children is an important decision. Children often see the same doctor or team for years so it is important to find a practice that works for your family. The Pediatric Center has a Rigby pediatrician that is certain to be a perfect fit for your child. We have two locations in Idaho Falls, ID and now also here in Rigby, ID. Yay!
Our Rigby office is a great location to serve many of the communities between Idaho Falls and Rexburg, to include the Menan and Roberts areas. We commonly see kids from Ucon, Northern Idaho Falls, Thorton, Grant, Lewisville, Labelle, and Archer.
Our Goal As a Professional Practice
Our goal is to serve the families of Eastern Idaho with outstanding pediatric care, and we have a staff of 7 – Board Certified Pediatricians as well as 3 – Board Certified Pediatric Physicians Assistants. We have been providing care in the region for over 55 years, so we are here to offer the best and most dependable pediatric care for your children, ranging from newborn birth to 19 years of age. We feel a child’s health is important to monitor regularly, which includes keeping immunizations always current. Our office offers immunizations without a doctor visit during certain days and times of the week at both of our locations, so it will be easy and convenient for you to make sure your child’s immunizations are up to date. Our website has an information page with the recommended immunization schedule as well as descriptions of each immunization, so you can be informed and clear about what shots your child will get and what each immunization contains and what disease it provides protection from.
Be Aware of Your Child’s Treatment and Healthcare Options.
Another service we offer is extended weekday and weekend hours. In fact, we are only closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas days. Evening and weekend hours are reserved for sick children to be seen and treated, not for regular check up appointments, so you know if your child develops a high fever on a weekend, you can call us, we are here for you. Our offices have in-house labs, so you don’t have to wait for tests to be sent out to another facility to be run. Our lab results are quick and available for better treatment of our patients.
If your child is ill enough to need hospital care, our Rigby pediatrician has priority privileges at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and Mountain View Hospital, both located in Idaho Falls. If very specialized care is needed, our staff and physicians work closely with the specialists at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City.
Our offices are accepting new patients and we accept almost all insurance plans. We also accept Medicaid patients in the Healthy Connections program. We have a symptom checker if you want to look up your child’s possible symptoms to decide if you should come to see us, and also a blog with articles and updates that you will find informative and helpful. Your child is the most important person to you and your family, and your child’s health is the most important thing to us. For immunizations, check-up, well baby visits, or if your child is feeling sick, give our office a call for an appointment right away.
We understand occasional circumstances prevent you from keeping your scheduled appointment. If possible, please notify our office in advance if you are running late or unable to make your appointment. Our scheduling coordinators will do their best to re-schedule you promptly.
