Eric P. Olson, M.D.
Dr. Olson was born at the University of Minnesota Hospital and came full circle at the U of M, earning a B.S. in Botany-Zoology in 1972, then his MD from the University of Minnesota Medical School in June 1980.
He completed his Pediatric Residency at Primary Children’s Medical Center and the University of Utah Medical Center in 1983, then entered private practice in New Ulm, Minnesota as the only Pediatrician in a multi-specialty clinic. He moved to Idaho Falls in July 1988 and joined the Pediatric Center.
Dr. Olson and his wife, Rhonda, raise Morgan horses, poodles, and barn cats. They enjoy horseback riding, cycling, camping, and hiking. He volunteers his time with the youth hockey and wrestling programs.
George H. Groberg, M.D.
Dr. Groberg is a native of Idaho Falls. He received his undergraduate degree in Zoology at Brigham Young University. He completed medical school at the University of Colorado and his residency in Pediatrics at Willford Hall USAF Medical Center. He served with the USAF as a Pediatrician and preceptor for Family Practice residents at Offutt AFB in Omaha. He has lead several teams of health care workers in teaching newborn resuscitation in China, Indonesia and Africa. He and his wife Bonnie are very busy with family, community and church responsibilities. He enjoys hiking, jogging, studying history, philosophy, current events, languages and cultures.
Dr. Todd Jacobs M.D.
Dr. Jacobs was raised in Sandy, Utah. He studied Visual Art at Brigham Young University and received his medical degree at A.T. Still University in Missouri. He received his pediatric training at Akron Children’s Hospital in Ohio. He then spent a year at Primary Children’s Hospital in Utah where he focused on the emergent and critical care of children of all ages. He is board certified in pediatrics through the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Jacobs loves adventure and is happiest exploring the world around him with his beautiful wife and 4 children. He finds great fulfillment in helping children and their parents in all aspects of life: including physical and mental healing, preventative care, child advocacy, and finding joy and happiness in this wild and crazy life.
Jill D. Veber, M.D.
Dr. Veber obtained her undergraduate degree in Pharmacy from Purdue University. She attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She remained in Cleveland for her residency training in Pediatrics at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. She joined The Pediatric Center in 1989, with emphasis on the care of hospitalized pediatric patients. She enjoys adventure travel, kayaking, skiing, and the outdoors.
Robert J. Pettit, M.D.
Dr. Pettit is a board certified Pediatrician who came to our clinic in 1992, having completed his pediatric residency at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, California. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston from 1985 to 1989. His undergraduate degree was in Chemistry. He speaks Spanish fluently, having served as a missionary from 1978 to 1980. Among other things, he enjoys working with youth, playing the piano, woodworking, hiking, huckleberry picking, and razzleberry pie.
Bradford N. Hatch, M.D.
Dr. Hatch is a native of Idaho Falls who returned in July 2004 to practice pediatrics in his hometown. He graduated from Brigham Young University and joined the United States Air Force, completing medical school at the uniformed Services University of the health Sciences. He received his pediatric training at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Hatch enjoys providing a full range of pediatric services from newborn intensive care to managing behavioral and mental health problems such as Attention Deficit Disorder.
Brad R. Edwards, D.O.
Dr. Edwards is a native of Southeastern Idaho. Having grown up in Rexburg, he returned to the area in 2003 to join the Pediatric Center. His education includes a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry from Brigham Young University, a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) Degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, a Pediatric Residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, a year with a Cystic Fibrosis and Asthma center in Missouri, and Board Certification in Pediatrics. Dr. Edwards enjoys traveling, reading, photography, and outdoor activities in his leisure time.
Kelly J. Anderson, M.D.
Dr. Anderson is a native of Idaho Falls; he joined the Pediatric Center in 2009. He received his undergraduate education at Ricks College and ISU with a Bachelors and Masters in Chemistry. He attended the University of Washington for medical school and completed residency at Indiana University and Riley Hospital for Children. Dr. Anderson loves caring for children and helping parents with the challenges faced in raising children.
Jeffrey J. Aughney, D.O.
We welcomed Dr. Jeffrey J. Aughney to our practice in July 2014.
Dr. Aughney is an Idaho native. and an alumnus of ISU. He received his medical degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Aughney was trained in pediatrics at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis Tennessee. He is board certified in pediatrics through the American Academy of Pediatrics. His greatest accomplishment, however, is his beautiful wife and three wonderful girls. Dr. Aughney enjoys working with children of all ages to help them reach their full physical and intellectual potential.
Karie Josten, PA-C
Karie obtained her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Stanford University. She received her Master’s degree in the Physician Assistant program at Idaho State University. Prior to her P.A. training, Karie was an elementary teacher in Idaho Falls for a number of years. She enjoys providing all aspects of pediatric care from newborns to adolescents. Karie was raised in Sacramento, California and has lived in Idaho Falls with her family for the past 20 years. She enjoys cooking, reading, and gardening, as well as many outdoor adventure events.
Heather Bagley, PNP
Heather Bagley, PNP has been a Registered Nurse since 1996. She earned her Master’s Degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Utah in 2009. She specializes in pediatric healthcare for patients 19 years and younger.
Marianne Galbraith PA-C
Marianne grew up in Santa Clara, Utah (near St. George). After high school she attended BYU and received her Bachelor of Science in microbiology with a chemistry minor, and a teaching certificate. Marianne taught science at West Jordan Middle School for 4 years. After teaching she decided to get her Master’s in Nutrition from the University of Utah. As a dietitian, she worked for one year at a dialysis clinic, then got her dream job at Primary Children’s Medical Center as a diabetes educator. She worked at Primary Children’s for 5 years and loved every second of it! Marianne went back to PA school in 2014. She moved to Rexburg in 2015 and graduated from PA school in 2016. Marianne has 3 wonderful step children. Marianne loves to spend time with family, quilt, read, and clean her house!
Erika Swope FNP-C
Erika was born and raised in Idaho Falls. She graduated from Idaho State University in 2005 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 10 years before obtaining her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2016 and joined The Pediatric Center shortly thereafter. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Erika enjoys providing care for all pediatric patients, ranging from newborns to adolescents. In her spare time, she loves traveling, camping, playing the piano and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
